When running a one-man shop I would be involved with writing policies,
working with internal customers on the development of procedures
related to their records, negotiating contracts for off-site storage,
shredding and other RM related services, given presentations,
researching issues such as e-discovery, providing litigation support
and other duties assigned.

maintaining a retention schedule is but one of many duties we all have to do.
