Mimi asked about how many us out in records manger land are a one person function. Well, I am.

I have been in my current position for a little over 5 years. I know I have made an impact and brought some clarity into the void, but there will always be more work than I can possibly handle alone.

This year I started to tap into outside resources. Hopefully I'll be able to continue doing this. My main work is still reactionary - litigation support. I would be a super paralegal at any firm, but that is not what I have trained to be all these years.

The toughest part for me now is turning my ship back towards my core work as a corporate records manager. Don't get me wrong - I have been highly successful here. Just not quite the way I had planned it every so many moons ago.

And now the really big projects start...warehouse move, bringing up the email archive, overseeing the development of our RRS, herding cats...oh wait, I mean lawyers :)

Rock on!
Sharon
