I can see solid RIM as well as stress management benefits in both
techniques.  As Peter mentioned, I like the ordnance method.   I've had
my eye on a .50 cal hand weapon ...

Fence pliers used consistently on the Flying W ranch; been there; grew
up doing that; I do not miss fencing pliers.
