Matt:
I also stopped by the SJSU table at the ARMA conference. I am very
interested in the MARA degree once it is accredited in early 2008. I am
very interested in what course content will be offered. Chris mentioned no
residency requirements and courses being offered electronically. This is a
great offer since I live in PA, but there are additional fees for living
out of state. According to their website, there is an additional fee of
$339 per unit for non-residents. That will essentially double the cost per
class from about $1,000 per 3 credit hours to over $2,000. Not cheap by
any means, but depending on the course offerings, it may be worth it.
Thanks,

Hi Matt!
Take a look at the San Jose State University SLIS site. They're
gearing up to offer a Masters in Archives and Records Administration
(MARA). They had a table at the ARMA conference and were saying this
new program would begin in 2008, there' no state residency
requirements, and courses will be offered electronically. Might be
worth investigating.. http://slisweb.sjsu.edu/index.htm
The person guiding the program through accreditation is Lori

Hope this helps.
