Hi, Sean,
It is my understanding that here at American Honda Motor Co., Inc.,
information gathered for a "project", from whatever source and whether on
electronic or physical media, is kept together (somehow) as a project. The
retention on most projects is 5 years from the end date of the project.
The exception is records created by the Rapid Application Development
process which is kept forever, mainly because it contains key coding which
is thought necessary to be kept as long as any piece of the
hardware/software exists.
