I'd like to list the 5 books I have laying around related to RIM:
1. Information and Records Management, 4th Edition, by Robek, Brown and
Stephens. I started reading this, but I've only made it to Chapter 6.
2. Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 Step by Step, by Olga Londer, Bill
English, Todd Bleeker, and Penelope Coventry. I picked this up at the
local B&N after getting a SharePoint site for our Records Department to
track our projects and initiatives, and being made an administrator for
this site.
3. Crystal 10 for Dummies. I have it at home (so I can't list the
authors), and I picked that up at B&N after getting Crystal set up to have
the ability to create some specialized reports from our records management
software.
4. The Sedona Conference Glossary: E-Discovery and Digital Information
Management. I haven't looked at it a lot, but I get the feeling I will be
needing it!
5. My own personal 'CRM Information' binder, which contains this years'
ProfessioNotes (the CRM newsletters that I printed off of the CRM website,
the ICRM Bibliography, the Certified Records Manager Examination Outline
from October 2006, Preparing for the CRM Examination: A Handbook, and the
notes from Mimi Dionne for preparing for the exams. That's in preparation
for applying for taking the exams next year.
I have more stuff as well, but those would be the top 5, I think.
