There are a few seats still available for the next Vital Records
webinar. This comprehensive online course is presented by instructors
from the National Archive and Records Administration's Northeast Region.

The Course begins Wednesday, January 9th and continues on Wednesdays
during the month of January.

This course provides the knowledge and skills required to identify,
protect, and make readily available the vital records needed to support
the resumption of critical business functions after a disaster, and to
establish and administer a vital records program. The vital record plan
developed as part of this class will be fully compliant with the vital
records requirements contained in FEMA's Federal Preparedness Circular
65. FEMA's FPC 65 provides Federal agencies with guidance for
Continuity of Operations planning.

The webinar format will allow for participants to build their skills
during four 90 minute sessions. We will use directed assignments to
allow participants to apply these skills to their own workplace during
the course. Participants will also have access to a scheduled chat room
each week to discuss any issues that come up between sessions. The goal
is for participants to have a Vital Records Plan completed by the end of
the course.

This course targets Federal employees and/or contractors who are
individuals with records responsibilities, COOP managers, line managers
and staff, information technology personnel, and employees of state and
local government involved with vital records programs or emergency
planning.

The cost for this training is $125. This includes all four sessions,
one moderated chat session per week during the course and all course
materials (delivered electronically).

Thank you for your time and consideration.
