The Wyoming Chapter of ARMA International will be presenting their
annual spring workshop and silent auction on March 10th. This year our
facilitator is Alan Andolsen, CMC, CRM.
We will be looking at:
ECM, ROI, and SUCCESS
The effort to acquire, to install, and to maintain an enterprise
content management system is not trivial. This session will review the
steps to develop a successful RFP, to calculate the ROI, and to plan the
implementation for a model content management system. The session will
include tips on how to manage the process to assure milestones are met
and all participants [IT, RIM, consultants, integrators, and users] have
clear roles and responsibilities.
Striving for Excellence * the CRM and You
The Certified Records ManagerTM designation represents a major
achievement for a RIM professional * the proof of experience and
knowledge. This session will provide background on the CRM, its Code of
Ethics, candidate qualifications, the examination process, and the
responsibilities for continued learning.
Computer Forensics and RIM
RIM and computer forensics are mutually complimentary disciplines.
Computer forensics provides tools for the identification of incidents,
gathering and analysis of evidence, and the possible recovery of erased
records. This session will review the tools used in computer forensics
and discuss RIM professionals can use computer forensics principles to
work with their Legal function to build a defensible RIM program.
Federal Rules of Civil Procedure - the Amendments and ESI
The amendments to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure have drastically
altered the discovery landscape. With a major concentration on
*electronically stored information, the new FRCP requirements demand
that RIM professionals review the way in which ESI is handled in their
organizations. This session will review the rules and outline some
appropriate steps that RIM professionals can take to make certain that
their organizations are ready for a FRCP compliant discovery.
The workshop will be from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. CRM Credits are
pre-approved. For more information and to register, please contact Donna
