Aheryl, It would help to know where you are in the country so that we
might recommend nearby resources. If you are in the NY city area there
are internships available. They generally pay 10 to 12 dollars an hour.
Entry level records positions vary widely in salary depending on the
industry you would like to work in. The medical records area requires
special training, but someone in that industry could speak more about
that and how to get it. In the legal market salaries are rising. With
your education level you could make between $30,000 and $40,000 to start
in NYC and benefits would likely far exceed what you have now.
