Sheryl,

Does the library where your work have an RIM program? If not, you could
volunteer to develop and put one into place. This will open several
avenues for you:

1. When completed, you could ask for a raise and new title IAW your
accomplishment and new responsibilities at your library.
2. It would give you real RIM exerience to put on your resume if you
want to leave the library.
3. It will give you sufficient experience to apply for your CRM and
start that process, increasing your marketability for a purely RIM
position somewhere else if you desire.
