Yeah... Hmmmm..... well, it makes sense to spend extra time defeating the
default settings on something new to make it work as though it was old so
it's more tolerable.=)

Sorry, can't help you there.  Like many others, my organization isn't
spending any money on bug-ridden software... not a bleeding edge  adopter
here.  As for me personally, well, it'll be a cold day in HE-double hockey
sticks before I buy the current version of ANYTHING micro$loth puts on the
market.  Their typical plan of action is to use the initial paying customers
as if they were beta testers, expose them to all of the foibles, and then
tell them to get the "Service Packs" to fix it.   This is a case where the
word "service" takes on the meaning used in animal husbandry in my thinking.
