Subject: MoReq2 is now published
Dear Colleagues
We are delighted to announce that the MoReq2 specification is now complete
and approved. It is available for download from the project website,
http://www.moreq2.eu/ <http://www.moreq2.eu/downloads.htm> , on the
"downloads" page*.
This final version is very similar in content to the previous draft. There
is only one significant difference of content; there are some minor
editorial corrections. The significant difference of content is a revised
table in section 9.8.1 of appendix 9; this will interest few users. And, as
you will see, there is a new MoReq2 logo, commissioned and selected by the
DLM Forum Executive (not by us!)
The next steps in the MoReq2 project are:
- publication of draft testing framework documentation
- publication of the final testing framework documentation;
- publication of a draft XML schema;
- publication of the final XML schema.
All these will be published on the project website, and you can download
them freely. We will not write to you when they are published, as they are
primarily of interest to software suppliers. However, if you want us to
write to you when they are published, just send an e-mail to

We intend to continue to maintain the project website, where we will post
news, translations, chapters zero, and a variety of other helpful resources.
PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU PRODUCE OR FIND a translation, a chapter zero, a
presentation, or anything else you wish to contribute to this site.
We are extremely grateful to all panellists who contributed review comments
during the development of the specification. Your input has played a major
part in shaping this important new "standard".
