We sent ours to our media shredding vendor. They shred diskettes, CDs,
mag tapes, etc. I'm not sure how environmentally "green" they are with
disposal of the shredded material.

Subject: [RM] Proper disposal

Hi all,

We have some old floppy disks (c.early 90s, when they were still
actually
floppy) that need to be disposed of. Does anyone know if there is a
proper,
environmentally-friendly way to dispose of them or would it be OK to
simply
destroy them? Please contact me off list at [log in to unmask]

Thanks,

Elisabeth
