Hi all,
This is a topic I have oft explored. I sent some useful tips to this
group last year in April
http://lists.ufl.edu/cgi-bin/wa?A2=ind0704A&L=RECMGMT-L&P=R10790&I=-3&X=
31AABF37BFA8271058&Y=mary.hilliard%40amd.com. Take a look - you might
find a few things there that work in your situation.

I would probably revise a bit if I had time but this is not on my major
list right now.

Although you can save emails as .msg files, one problem I have with that
as a solution is that you can no longer see the date metadata without
opening the email and that can sometimes be an issue. Likewise the
information about the sender and receiver. These are reasons why a
"real" solution that allows easier access to that most often used
information as index makes sense....of course, that does require a big
expenditure of $$ and time.

and you can replicate that folder structure in Windoze Explorer and file
the
emails as .msg files thus associating them with other doctypes that are
in
those folders

as a .msg file you can then review them offline if needed
