I work for a large national home builder, and we have utilized similar
desktop enterprise-wide training modules, for the HR department
concerning ethical behavior etc. in the work place. Part of my role
working in the Records Dept., I am tasked with training the newly hired
employees on our Corporate Records Management policies, so they will be
familiar with their role in the process and it also reinforces to them
how seriously our company takes the Rec. Mgt program. I had the
opportunity to preview this records management module a few weeks ago,
and I was impressed. I can see the potential it has for training the
masses, and making that aspect of my job as teacher, somewhat easier.

"I have noticed a number of requests over the last few months related to

records management training. My company has recently launched a new

service that provides enterprise-wide role-based training for records

management. This training is focused on the various roles in an

enterprise and what they need to know: new employees, general employees,

executives, and IT."
