Melissa,

You're talking to 1500+ people, the majority of whom would give their
eye teeth for Legal to include RM in the process at all. Count your
lucky stars and put your RM Manual (w/Legal Hold info) on your intranet
so that sections of it can be indexed and read separately and it will
not be cumbersome to read.

Good luck,
Gary Link, CRM

Subject: [RM] HELP! lawyers want to take over the RM policy with a book
on legal holds....

Hello Record Friends, ,

My story is an "oldie but a goodie" as they say. Our lawyers want to
take the records management policy and make it a book by adding pages
of legal holds information. We ( the RM team) feel that a Legal hold
Policy has to cover all information created by the company vs. a records
management policy which covers records and their management. Does anyone
have good legal hold policy advice to give?

M. Griffin.
