If records managers got together and started a software development company, and wrote/created an email program (like Outlook, etc.) from scratch, what features would it have? What components/features/attributes would we put into it so that the problem of managing email would be dealt with at creation?
I do not put this question to the list as some whimsical exercise, but as an attempt to gather some solid ideas on managing email. Seems to me that attempts to manage email at the end of the system are not doing the job, and more ideas of managing it at the beginning of the system are needed.
