Hey, following stuides on may be useful for the discussions on concepts of recordkeeping and records management.

 1.     RMS
 RMS (Records Management System) refers to the highest level managerial functions that integrates records management system into the overall management systems and positions into top management within the organzation; 
  cf. RMS:part of the overall management system, based on records management principles, to establish, implement, operate, monitor, maintain and improve recordkeeping.
 
NOTE 1 Management system is the system to establish and acheve policy and objectives.

NOTE 2 The management system includes organizational structure, policies, planning activities, responsibilities, practices, procedures, processes and resources. [ISO/IEC 2nd CD 27000: 2007, 3.2.4] [ISO 14001:2004, 3.8]

NOTE3 In AS 4390, Part 3, Clause 6.2.1. [ICA module 2, 2008], records management system equals to recordkeeping system.¡¡¡¡

2. RM

RM (Records Management) refers to the middle level managerial activites of resources, policies systems that make up records management across an organization;
cf.field of management responsible for the efficient and systematic control of the creation, receipt, maintenance, use and disposition of records, including processes for capturing and maintaining evidence of and information about business activities and transactions in the form of records

3. RK
RK( Recordkeeping) refers to interoperational level managerial processes that covers the management of records ued in business and as archives. 

cf.information systems which capture, maintain and provide access to records over/through time.

 4. RKS

RKS (Recordkeeping system, also records sytem) refers to the bottom level mangaerial information system that fulfil records management functionality and business operations follows the polices, rules and procedures established, also called records system. 

making and maintaining complete, accurate and reliable evidence of business transactions in the form of recorded information
