Nice post Larry! I especially love this paragraph:
"A lot of what happens with the application of retention to electronicallygenerated records can be done by a rules and role based approach once theend user declares a record... and if the ERMS is properly deployed, itshould be done that way. This takes all of the wind out of the sails ofthe argument that "it's too difficult to do", because it simply happens."
 
I am not a fan of big buckets. Maybe I am old school, but I still choose to leverage technology not become a slave to it!
