Steve-

I understand what you're saying, but think of it like this:

WE ARE CONSUMERS of their services and products, and although we can't say
"we're not going to purchase your products and services" we CAN SAY that
we're not interested in purchasing them if the features change so
drastically that they no longer serve our purposes or meet our practices.

Here's an example:

Plenty of research has been done to determine which colors most US consumers
find appealing, and most of what I've seen says it's blue.

NOW...MILK. We all know it's available in many forms, NF, 1%, 2%, Whole,
Goat, Soy, W/lactobacillus acidophilus, etc.

Let's say the major producers made a unilateral decision that now ALL milk
would be he tinted blue (with the use of some naturally occurring product)
that didn't change the taste, add in anything artificial, or anything else.
After all, people LIKE blue, right?

But the smaller producers didn't go for it and decided that consumers may
not be too interested in this, so they kept the plain old white stuff.

If everyone decided they didn't want to bother talking to the major
producers because they made a decision they thought everyone would like blue
milk, and no one thought they could change their minds... don't you think
the producers would start feeling the heat from diminishing sales?

I mean, YUCK... it might drive me to buying my own COW!! But first, I think
I'd try to talk to them and voice my opinion. In fact, I think I'd try to
encourage a bunch of other people I know to talk to them.

Why hecksakes, I might even try to get an Association of more than 11,000
members to talk to them in a concerted voice to try to influence them to
consider that the majority of our members were not in favor of blue milk,
after all, that would have an impact, don't YOU think??

But again, maybe it's just me...

Larry
