Aloha All,

Yes, the invitation has even reached me here in the islands...It hit my
"special file" in approx. 5 seconds and is now being environmentally
recycled. : -)

Have a great week everyone!

Subject: Anyone familiar with the People to People Citizen Ambassador
Program for Global Archives Management?

Good morning,

I'm curious as to whether anyone in RM-land is familiar with the subject
program and the work they do? Has anyone ever participated in a similar
delegation? If so, where did you go? As this program appears to focus
on archives management, I'm not sure how-as a records manager, I was
selected but I am very interested. Apparently, this program's primary
objective is to "seek a better understanding of the archival profession
in South Africa" through 1-on-1 dialogue with overseas counterparts, for
professional diplomacy.

It sounds like quite an opportunity but I'd love to hear about other
experiences with this, or similar programs. If anyone can share similar
experiences then please contact me off-list.

Thanks.
Earl
