Joseph--
If you are re-purposing ALTA surveys and related field data, created by
your firm, from one defined project to another, then the records must
exist for both projects. Consequently, , the records would need to
satisfy the retention requirements for each project in which they are
used. Sometimes, depending on volume and usage, duplicating the records so
they exist separately in each project is easier. Whether the actual
records remain in one project and are cross referenced, or duplicated is
for your firm to decide.
