Hello everyone:

I've been reading up on the listserv archives and just read it was polite to offer an introduction of yourself. So here goes...

Well, I've been in library/archives/records management (sound familiar?) for quite a few years now and am a recent transplant to Houston.
Although I'm still fairly new to the Houston area, I just attended my second ARMA Houston meeting yesterday and look forward to many more.

Here's my brief bio:

Records Analyst
Spectra Energy (formerly Duke Energy Gas Transmission)
History: Bitten by the library/archive bug in Japan when working with a local library & information center. Then, came back home to the U.S. to pursue my MLIS from LSU (Geaux Tigers). While in Baton Rouge, I worked at the LA Department of Environmental Quality's Records Management division and special library. Relocated to work for the City of Houston as a Records Administrator and now I'm here at Spectra Energy working as a Records Analyst. And thoroughly enjoying the world of records/content management. However, still explaining to friends and family..."why records?"
Credentials: MLIS, ECM-Specialist. But most importantly applying for my CRM, here's hoping.
