Greetings all,
Within my employer, a US-based, nationwide residential construction /
mortgage / title company, I am setting up an internal imaging program to
start the task of converting hard-copy to digital and am currently shopping
for image capture software.
Our company has Global Scan installed on all of our
copy/scan/fax/coffee-maker machines around the company, but it just doesn't
cut it for speed of physical scan, or delivery through the network to a
local computer (as far as I have seen).
Is anyone using Global Scan as a high-volume capture system (as compared to
Kofax or Capture Pro on a stand-alone machine)? My IT people seem to think
it's the best thing since sliced bread, but so far, I am yet to be impressed
with it.
Any comments / warnings / general experience to this effect would be helpful
and appreciated.
Thanks,
Brad Furlow
