Guess by the title, the writer is a March Madness fan.
This is primarily directed at Federal Agencies but there are some take-aways
for private companies too.
The one comment in the article I'm wrestling with is:
He also counseled agencies to assiduously negotiate service level agreements
with cloud vendors. "But keep in mind that a public vendor may not be as
flexible because they can't separately negotiate all agreements with
thousands of customers," he added.
I'd have to ask WHY?? If the vendor has numerous clients and each one has
different needs for their SLA, then why can't different agreements be
negotiated? You just have to determine which SLAs you CAN meet, and which
you CAN'T and then decide which clients to engage with, right?
