Hello esteemed List!

I am in final prep for a webinar next week on the topic of Disposition (in
particular, I'll be delivering the GARP Principle of Disposition webinar for
ARMA).

One portion of the discussion is on how to do effective and efficient
disposition (controls, processes, etc.) and would love to hear from this
group what you feel is *the* most important thing to do/aspect of a quality
disposition program. My personal opinion is getting top level buy in. I
have seen plenty of executives get upset when they realized that *their*
records would be destroyed/disposed of along with the rest.

Have you come up with a way to make it fool-proof? Get 99% participation?
Keep costs to a strict minimum by taking a particular approach? Any other
thoughts/ideas? I am happy to keep any contributions anonymous - up to
you! And feel free to reply on or off list.

Thanks in advance for helping to "keep it real" by allowing me to share some
real-life knowledge (other than just my own) with the attendees!

Julie
