A couple of departments are switching to end-tab folders to increase filing
capacity and increased access efficiency. Everything is going fine, but it
dawned on me that end-tab folders do not do really well in an offsite storage
box - the tabs would be hidden in the box, rather than sitting on top for easy
reference. These records get pulled back for audits semi-regularly, so access
to the information post-storage is necessary.
Has anyone dealt with this issue? The current idea is to transfer the contents
to top-tab folders for offsite storage, but that seems like a lot of work and
expense.
Thanks for your input.
