Wayne, a significant portion of our holdings are side tabbed medical
records. The only problems arise when users fill the boxes too tightly.
If enough room is left (we recommend 1 inch), it generally is not a
problem, as you can flip the folders. I would not recommend going
through the effort to change, however, I would also suggest that the
color tabs be situated at the lower end of the tab, and any textual
labels be situated towards the upper end of the tab, to facilitate
retrieval.
