unfortunately two weeks will have passed since the standard was open for
review (August 6th) when members receive  the InfoPro issue which results in
a reduced amount of time for folks to do a proper review of the standard

I wonder if it would be possible to include the recmgmt-l listserv in the
future as part of the announcements that went to NISO, SAA and ANSI. and let
us not forget tweeting the information. that is how I found out about the
standard as I saw it via an SAA tweet

so far over 200 clicks have been recorded on the bit.ly link included in my
posting to the list about the standard

I think InfoPro is a great source of information but sometimes time
sensitive information should be distributed in quicker manner.
