I totally agree!! It used to be in bad taste to even discuss salary numbers in an interview. But really, why waste all the time involved in applying for, interviewing with, etc. just to find out later the salary is way out of your range.
I think recruiters and employers would save themselves a lot of time and energy to at least include the salary range with ANY job description.
