technology and operational processes to deliver cost-effective business

ever-changing technological and organisational demands of the global
marketplace, and to improve and refine our work processes in order to
deliver and support the provision of the high-quality services that our
customers have come to expect.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our Regional HQ
team in the role of Regional Records Manager.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Ensure the local establishment of an effective records management
structure and programme in the region.
• Establish and implement a programme to enable regional HQ departments
demonstrate compliance to Group standard and policy. This will include
records retention scheduling, provision of shared records management
services, reporting of regulatory scrutiny or loss of records, and
identification of essential records for continuity planning.
• Work as a team with Legal, Compliance and IT to identify, standardise and
rollout regional records management solutions.
• Coordinating and overseeing the Country records management activities in
the region and promoting cross-sharing of best practices and audit
observations.
• Promoting regional awareness of Group Records Management policies and
initiatives to improve compliance and supporting roll-out of global training
and communication programmes.
• Collecting and analysing regional cost information relating to the
provision of records management services to support operation efficiency.
• Contribute to the success of Group Records Management programme through
effective communication to senior management of regional and global
developments and needs.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED
• Good first degree and a recognised postgraduate qualification in records
management. A professional qualification in project management may also be
considered.
• At least five years experience managing records management projects with a
large company, preferably in financial services with experience of regional
roles
• Well-developed communication and influencing skills
• Independent and proactive approach, with excellent problem-solving
capacities
• Willingness to work towards constantly upgrading knowledge and skills base
