Records Administration Center Warehouse Specialist

Columbia, SC law firm seeks an experienced, full-time Warehouse
Specialist. This position coordinates the day-to-day offsite storage
activities and staff in the Firm's records centers with regard to
maintaining inventory, processing incoming media orders, storing items
in records center, downloading scanned information; processing retrieval
orders, internal moves and destructions.  Duties also include utilizing
automated systems to index and maintain records and to retrieve and
reference information for users. Strong attention to detail and
accuracy, proficiency in barcode technology, and automated records
management systems is necessary. Must be able to lift and stand for long
periods, have proficient computer skills and be able to work with a
diverse group of employees.  Good driving record, valid SC driver's
license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance are required. A
technical background, experience in records management, ability to type
45 wpm, forklift certified, and familiarity with the Columbia, SC area

Records Assistant

Columbia, SC law firm seeks a Records Assistant to assist in the
operation and maintenance of the Firm's Records Center. Responsibilities
include: Maintaining records in accordance with the Firm's records
management and retention policies and procedures, contacting attorneys
and/or clients, release and destruction of records.   Duties include
processing, sorting, classifying and coding material; utilizing
automated systems to index and maintain records and to retrieve and
reference information for users; lifting boxes of records to and from
warehouse shelving and working with pallet lift and hand truck to
transport material. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, proficiency
in automated records management systems and barcode technology is
necessary.  Must be able to lift and stand for long periods and have
proficient computer skills.  Good driving record, valid SC driver's
license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance are required.
Strong technology skills, experience in law firm records management,
ability to type 45 wpm, and familiarity with the Columbia, SC area are
