can't address the "it is all false" claim, but if one modifies the search
results to the following

huckabee+"hard+drives" -"mother jones" the results are dropped down to 150K+

when one does that one of the top results is an AP store from 2007 that
notes

"The state's Ethics Commission has previously dismissed two complaints that
Parsons, a self-described "gadfly," has filed against Huckabee over the hard
drives' destruction. "

I would find the Mother Jones story a lot more credible if they had shown
the same sort of zeal with regards to Carol Browner and the destruction of
EPA electronic records in defiance of a court order

but they ignore that issue in this story from this year about her
resignation
