Again I refer you to a company that has done a really good job on international retention information and country law.  http://www.internationalrecordretention.com/research-record-retention.html
 
Of course they do not provide the information for free but small bucks compared with doing the ground work yourself.
 
I recommend that everyone put this site in their favorites.
