Joy, does NV Energy not use an Oracle database for retention policies? At
one time NV Energy had developed and used an Oracle database for retention
policies which also tracked changes for an audit trail. It also contained
the indices for off-site storage for the records center, microfilm and
aperture cards, destruction activities, etc. It emulated some of the
functions we had developed (on a different platform) while I was with Duke
Energy in the late 90s. I believe a Ms. Amy Taylor from your I/S did the
creative programming for these functions, and also wrote the documentation
and user instructions. You might want to check with her.
