Our vendor provides at least 2 sizes of receptacles. We use one of
their 24 in. locked console units (as opposed to the 36" units) and mark
it for "alternate media" only. They check it weekly with the regularly
scheduled run and shred it separately so they can catch the remnants and
recycle the recyclable plastics. Their equipment produces random
cross-cut shred literally no larger than a thumbnail. It works for us.
