How Memento helps you track internet over time - The Economic Times

MUMBAI:Michael Nelson, a computer science professor at the Old Dominion
University in Virginia is popularly known as the 'Time Traveler of the
Internet'. And why not? His project Memento helps you to track the internet
over time.

"The society is not a doing a good job of preserving what we produce in
terms of information," says Nelson. This internet historian wants to correct
that by archiving the worldwide web, properly, so that one can revisit it
anytime. Memento aims to bridge the gap between publishing and preserving.
