As dashboards report and summarize the state of a program or system,
their reports meet the definition of records. In many cases, I suppose,
the periodic reports create a log of progress (or the lack thereof).

While dashboards report the status of many systems, I am particularly
interested in one that reports the health of a RIM system. For example:
-- What percentage of records eligible for disposition remain to be
processed?
-- How many staff members are scheduled to be trained this week?
-- What is the current cost of outside storage, and what is the trend
of such costs?
And many more examples.

Is anyone currently working with such a system?
