Speaking of Waffle House... anybody HUNGRY?!?!?!?!

We don't have one within 1000 miles of us, but the welcoming beacon of
yellow and black at highway exits when I'm in the South always draws me
in... I know a lot of folks where they are plentiful don't see the
attraction, but it's the unique nature of these "Islands of Culinary
Happiness" that us West Coast types enjoy.  

The whole concept of "Scattered, Smothered, Covered, Chunked and Country"
meant nothing to people here when Hootie and the Blowfish used that as album
title because they had never been to a Waffle House.

It's sort of like "Krispy Kreme" which we do have some of now, or "Cracker
Barrel", which we don't... but then again we *DO* have In-n-Out Burgers!!
