Yes, I've negotiated out of these charges, or rather I laughed and
walked out of the room. I told them that if their Accounting Dept. could
not send me an accurate bill at their cost, then they should fire them
and hire a real accountant that could, the same as all my other vendors
were doing. I also nixed fees for bar code labels (why should I pay for
labels that I have to attach with my labor and which only benefit the
vendor?). Same with fees for forms and re-boxing without my approval
(which I don't give).
