Peter may be extra busy at a work-related event for the next few days so I will guest moderate/manage for him in this case.

If you are having difficulty unsubscribing using the link/e-mail address placed at the bottom of all list messages you might consider using this link http://lists.ufl.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=RECMGMT-L&A=1 to: Join or Leave RECMGMT-L List. You may have to click the "logging in.." link and then the "get a new LISTSERV password" link to use this method, but I find this method of managing my subscription much easier than sending messages via e-mail.

On another note, I will assume you have not been a long-time subscriber to the list, otherwise you would know why (it appears) he sends out too many emails. I will leave it at that.

Dear Peter,
You send out too many emails. I dont want to be a part of this list serve but cannot seem to get off because I get an error message in Chinese when I try. Please direct me how to get off or stop being an inbox terrorist. Thank you.

Retention policies need to balance legal and historical requirements -
FierceContentManagement

after talking to consultant Cheryl McKinnon> http://candystrategies.com/about/>from Candy Strategies last week at the ARMA International Conference and Expohttp://www.arma.org/conference/2011/WashingtonDC.aspx, I began to rethink my own position that getting rid of mundane stuff like lunch menus from the cafeteria really made sense. McKinnon has a history background and she rightly pointed out that those menus are part of the historical record. If in a hundred years, researchers wanted to know what
types of food people ate in the early 2000s at a company called Google, they might be able to do that if the menus existed.
