We have nothing in our engagement letters in regards to the disposal of
files. We also have no standard letter that we send to a client
informing them of any retention or destruction policy.

I have an outline of an engagement letter that contains sample wording
that I developed as part of a seminar on records management in law firms
that I gave a few years ago. If someone could remind me how to post it
to the Yahoo Groups site set up for such an occasion, I'll be happy to
post it there.
