*COLUMBIA, S.C. -- *At the South Carolina Department of Archives and
History, there are documents dating back to the 1600s. They include letters
from the state's elected leaders that are being preserved for future
generations.But now that "history makers" use email and other forms of
electronic communication, archivists worry a part of history may be lost.
