Job-development agency's record-keeping, oversight questioned - South
Florida Sun-Sentinel.com
The report released this week found the private auditor tasked with making
sure companies deliver the jobs they've promised had no formal training on
Florida's corporate tax incentives and hadn't conducted required "customer"
surveys for six years. Many of the email addresses for companies were no
longer active.
The firm's four-person office "has no operational manual instructing new
and current staff on how to do their jobs," the report states.
