KITCHENER — The federal government is talking about law and order, but it
needs to get its own house in order, says a Kitchener judge upset at the
huge backlog in the RCMP’s criminal records database.

“If the RCMP wanted to undermine the administration of justice ... it would
be hard to find a better way’’ than this, Justice Elliott Allen said this
week in Kitchener’s Ontario Court.
