".....Doubtless you have a pile of VHS tapes sitting in your garage, all 
unlabelled, which chronicle your family's early 90s summer holidays. Every now 
and then you think: I should put those on DVD.
If you did get around to that particular chore, in 10 years' time you'd find 
yourself staring at a box of unlabelled DVDs, thinking: I should really upload 
these into my memory crystal, or whatever it is by then.
Think you've got problems? Try dealing with 300 gigabytes a month of new 
data, all of which is of huge historical importance and has to be preserved 
forever.
