I predict that the rising cost of college educations and the lower return on investment will change that model. Specialty subjects like you can arrange at certain Junior Colleges or Technical schools will be the rage to prepare for specific jobs and then education will layer in over time. Corporations will value specific training over the old Liberal Arts education. If University enrollment plummets, how will that effect college's management team? If there is no Basket Weaving 101, can football survive in Division 1?

Prediction 2:

"Home trading" will develop to a new marketing model for real estate to allow people to move to the jobs. A house in Jersey that $250,000 could trade for one of equal value in Texas thus making Americans able to move again. Barter has been increasing among corporations so this makes sense.

Prediction 3:

Security continues to degrade in IT. A new trend will be to divide the IT platform such that it takes a blend of two centers to create the full data file. Thus removing a huge temptation for IT guys like the one at Goldman who sold out his company for personal gain. This is necessary in a world of "Me First and No Moral Backbone for the Individual." Kids today are more likely to listen to Seri for advice than look to a moral code. "Seri is stealing wrong." .....

Prediction 4:

Protectionism will rule in foreign trading as politicians will cave to voters who want it now. Personal liberty will decline. The Utah Government Data Center models itself after the show "Person of Interest" but without the moral code behind it as politicians run it.
The new law that forbids demonstrating near a Secret Service protected politician and "Occupy Whatever" will collide. Huge, Huge demonstrations will result as our elected politicians seek to stifle our voices anywhere they can hear us. Declaring Free Speech as a Felony will be a loser of an idea.

So have some fun, its Friday........ where do you see new trends??
