Last week I attended the MER conference. Many of us had our laptops or iPads so we could take notes as presenters spoke. I was careful to sit in the back of the room because I felt my note taking might be distracting to those seated near me. But that's just me.
Imagine being in a job interview and having both the interviewers repeatedly check their iPhones and in a couple instances return texts.
Seems like we're missing some basic courtesy. Doesn't seem to be age related. Maybe this is the new normal?
