China's Plugging of Corporate Information Sieve: Why it Matters - China
Real Time Report - WSJ

China has closed the
gate<http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052702303506404577448113933841708.html>on
access to a wide array of information on Chinese companies – closely
held, publicly traded and state-owned – that was once publicly available.

Curiously, before the crackdown, there was more information available on
private companies in China than perhaps anywhere else in the world.

Is this a cause of concern? Most emphatically yes.
