I just attended a very impressive and moving ceremony commemorating the
Army's Birthday, here where I work.  What was particularly moving to me was
during the National Anthem.  The American Flag seemed to know we were
honoring it.  It was waving proudly, while the Army flag and the Medical
flag stood still.  Wished I had taken a picture, it was so pretty.  The A
brief history of the Army was read.   There were 7 soldiers wearing uniforms
from the Revolutionary War to Present day, that were presented reflecting of
the Army during that era.  How impressive they looked.  I really felt sorry
for the Soldiers wearing the Revolutionary  and Civil War Uniforms, this is
a typical hot day in Central Texas, and those uniforms looked extremely hot.
We closed with singing the Army song.  What a great event to wind down the
work day.
